*-* గర్భిణీ మహిళలు, డ్యూటీకి వెళ్ళలేని స్థితిలో ఉండి,(మేటర్నిటీ లీవ్ లో వున్నా లేకపోయినా)

*-* ఆరోగ్య పరిస్తితి సరిగా లేని, తీవ్ర శ్రమ ఒత్తిడి గల పనులు చేయకూడదు అని డాక్టర్ సూచించినపుడు.

*-* పిల్లలకు పాలిచ్చే తల్లులకు మరియు పైన సూచించినట్టు విధులలో వున్న అధికారులను ఎన్నికల విధులు నుంచి మినహాయింపు కోరవచ్చు..

Commissioner, AP

AP, Vijayawada has issued notification for conduct of Ordinary Elections-2020 to

Municipal, MPTC/ZPTC & Sarpanch in Andhra Pradesh.

The State Election Commissioner has exception certain officers from being drafted

for election duty in view of essential nature of duties services discharged by them. The

following excepted categories are shown below

Doctors and compounders working in veterinary hospitals.

Doctors, Nurses, ANMs working in Health Department

Ayurvedic, Unani & Homeopathic Medical Officers of Ayush Department

Staff of all india Radio

Staff of Doordarshan

Operational / technical staff of BSNL, MTNL will be requisitioned for election

duty only unavoidable circumstances.

Officers/ staff of commercial Banks located in rural areas and if happens to be

a single officer branch, need not be depiloyed

All such women, who are in advanced stage of pregnancy. whether on

maternity leave or not, or who are otherwise on medical advice not ft for any

igorous, hazardous work, shall be exempted from election duty. The same will

apply to women who are breastfeeding a newly bom child

In view of the above,I request you to submit detailed remarks for exemption of

Election Duties in your staff, in case any exemption from Election duty is needed. t is

further infomed that, if your remarks are not genuine for exemption of election duty

action wil be initiated against the concerned Officer [(u/s.210(2) Ordinary Election Rules,

1994
