The Government of Andhra Pradesh is committed to strengthening Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) through continuous professional development of teachers handling primary grades. As part of the 60 days Certificate Course Programme, Key Resource Person (KRP) Training was successfully conducted from 21.05.2026 to 25.05.2026, followed by District Resource Person (DRP) Training from 29.05.2026 to 02.06.2026. In continuation of the above training cascade model, it is planned to conduct Ground-Level Capacity Building Training for Secondary Grade Teachers across the State from 04.06.2026 to 09.06.2026 for a period of six (06) days in non-residential mode. The proposed training programme should cover approximately 40,412 teachers, comprising 34,000 existing Secondary Grade Teachers and 6,412 newly recruited SGTs, at 180 training
venues identified in all districts. The training is intended to strengthen teachers' competencies in Play-Based Pedagogy, Activity-Based Learning, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Classroom Transaction,
