The MHRD PAB 2019-20 sanctioned an innovative program called

twinning/Partnership and Teacher exchange Programme in 11378 elementary
schools in the State and proceedings were issued through vide reference cited above.
To implement the Program at Elementary Level in the State.

The MHRD PAB 2019-20 also sanctioned to 260 Schools in 13 Districts at

Secondary level with the financial approval of 5.2 lakhs.

The twinning/Partnership and Teacher exchange Programme is aimed to
link schools located in rural/Tribal areas with Private, Aided or Government Schools
in urban or semi-urban areas with schools located in rural areas for interaction and
exchange of experiences between teacher and Students. Under the exchange
programme the students of each section from higher classes from rural/Tribal
schools may be brought to schools in urban areas for one week and vice-a-versa for

The potential benefits of twinning/Partnership and Teacher exchange

Programme

Relationship building Twinning and partnerships can help build
stronger relationships between school staff (and learners) in different schools.
These relationships are one of the most important preconditions for lasting
contacts and collaboration (sustainable contacts) and they can be drawn upon
when either of the schools have a need which their partner can assist with or

when opportunities arise for working together for instance in projects.




Networking: Twinning and partnerships can contribute to greater
networking, for instance when the schools involved in collaboration are

exposed to each other's existing local and regional networks.
