extending the benefit of pay protection to the employees of Local Bodies who are appointed later through APPSC and DSC

ORDER:

In the G.O first read above, Government have issued orders for the

former employees of local bodies who are appointed later through A.P.P.S.C.

and D.S.C., into Govt. Service on or after 10-12-2004, and who are

continuing in government service as on today be given pay protection under

F.R 22(a) (iv) with monetary benefit from the date of issue of those orders

i.e, 02.06.2011.

2. In the G.O second read above, Government issued further orders

extending the benefit of pay protection to the employees of Local

Bodies who are appointed later through APPSC and DSC in to Government

service between 02.06.2011 and 31.12.2013. The monitory benefit allowed

from the date of issue of those orders i.e.19.02.2014.

3. In the reference third read above, the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat

Association (APSA), Velagapudi has requested for protection of pay to the

2018 batch ASOs, who hailed from local body services i.e teachers under FR

22 (a)(iv) on par with the earlier batches.

4. Government after careful examination of the matter taken a

considered decision and here by issue amendment to omit the following

phrase in para (6) of the G.O. first read above.

“and who are continuing in Government service as on today”
