The attention of all the the District Educational Officer & EX-Officio Project

officers /Additional Project Co-ordinators in the state is drawn to the reference

read above, wherein the Govt. of India have allocated an amount of Rs.402.66

lakhs towards self defence training for 76,826 girl students of 6h 7th and 8th

classes studying in 4474 MPUP schools Rs.9000/per school for 3 months for

the self defence training. The main objective of the scheme is to reduce the

crimes against the girls and women in the country and it is important to provide

self defence for girls to ensure their safety and security.

In the reference 2nd cited, similar work orders has been issued to all

the District Educational officer & EX-Officio Project officers /Additional Project

Co-ordinators under RMSA to the following Agencies covering 13 Districts of all

Govt. ZPHS, KGBVs, Model Schools, Municipal, Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare

Schools for the girl students of 8th and 9th class and intermediate.

The District Educational Officer & EX-Officio Project Officers /Additional

Project Co-ordinators are further informed that the RMSA have been merged with

sSA as Samagra Shiksha. Since, the RMSA earlier have called for Eol (expression

of Intrest) and finalized the following agencies for training the girl students in

self defence for 8th 9th 1st Inter & 2nd Inter.

In view of the above, it is decided to entrust the work of training the girl
