ORDER:

The Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, MHRD, Gol, New

Delhi has communicated office memorandum regarding conduct of Inter-School Band

Competition to be held at six zones in the country. It will be followed by a National level

competition at New Delhi, In view of the Republic Day 2020 celebrations.

The Department of School Education and Literacy, MHRD, Govt. of India is organizing

an Inter School Band Competition to be held at Six zones viz., Central, Eastern, Western,

Southern, Northern, North-East zones in the country followed by a National Level

competition at New Delhi, scheduled prior to the Republic day 2020 celebrations.

In this context, all the District Educational Officers and Ex-Officio District Project

Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are requested to submit the details of two

teams i.e., one for boys and one for girls from the concerned districts by 12-11-2019. The

size of the team should not be more than 27 members including team leader plus one escort

teacher and one band master allowed along with the team, and also requested to depute

one officer for supervision and take care of the team from state level to national level.

Further the District Educational Officers and Ex-Officio District Project Coordinators of

Samagra Shiksha in the State are requested to issue necessary orders to all the Additional

Project Coordinators, Dy.EO's, MEO's and Head Masters of High Schools and Upper Primary

Schools to send the registration forms (i.e., Annexure-I and Annexure-II) with participants

names to the e-mail: isbc2019apsamagra@gmail.com on or before 12-11-2019.

The District Educational Officers and Ex-Officio District Project Coordinators of

Samagra Shiksha will-meet the budget from the district management cost like Student

transportation, Teachers/Escort/Officer TA&DA, Accommodation (if required), food, required

materials/equipment and other miscellaneous expenditure must meet by the District Project

Office for state level. The State Level Inter School Band Competition will be held in Nellore

District and the Zonal Level competition will be held in Prakasam District. Hence, the District
