Samagra Shiksha, A.P – SIEMAT – National-level Cybersecurity awareness competitions on Safer Internet Day as part of ISEA Program – Certain Instructions – Issued.

All the District Educational Officers, Principals of Govt. DIETs and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are informed that the Central Institute of Educational Technology, New Delhi has informed that the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) initiative, launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, aims to develop human resources for a safe, trusted, and secure cyberspace. Implemented through 50 premier academic institutions nationwide, with C-DAC Hyderabad as the Project Management Unit, ISEA Project Phase –III adopts a targeted approach to promote cybersecurity and privacy practices. Under its Cyber Aware Digital Naagrik (Mass Awareness) program, it seeks to educated diverse groups, including students, youth, teachers, women, parents, senior citizens, government employees, NGOs, Common Service Centres (CSCs), and MSMEs, through extensive awareness campaigns, engagement activities, and tailored learning pathways. The program empowers individuals with essential cybersecurity skills, fostering safer digital practices and enabling career opportunities in the cybersecurity field. Further, it is informed that as part of this initiative a web portal https://www.staysafeonline.in has been developed with abundant multimedia content for various user segments by covering the various emerging areas in cyber security. To make your learning journey exciting, flexible and rewarding it includes various activities like quizzes, competitions like Drawing and Painting, creating a Cartoon story board, Reels/shorts, Slogan Writing, Cyber Awareness Tale: Character-driven storytelling, Short awareness videos/Short Film, Technical Papers, My Success Story: Thanks to Digital Naagrik. Awards and reward points etc specifically tailored to boost engagement and make learning more effective. Hence, all the District Educational Officer, Principal of Govt. DIETs and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are requested to circulate this circular widely and encourage maximum participation. 









This effort will not only help spread awareness about safe digital practices but also empower individuals with critical cybersecurity skills for a secure online experience. Important dates regarding the competitions are as follows: a. Last date for submission – 5th January, 2025 b. Announcement of State level winners -21st January, 2025 c.Announcement of National level winners – 30th January 2025 d. Award Ceremony – (Informed later)
