Samagra Shiksha, AP – Quality Initiatives- DIKSHA- Pilot Testing of PAL Sub: Feature under DIKSHA in Selected Schools and Nomination of Teachers for Orientation Programme
The attention of the District Educational Officers in the state are invited in the reference read above and they are informed that CIET-NCERT has developed the Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) system, a pioneering initiative aimed at addressing the diverse learning levels and styles of students. PAL is designed to offer a tailored learning experience by adapting the instructional content based on a learner’s prior knowledge, pace, and preferred learning style. It enables real-time personalization of assessments, adjusts the level of difficulty according to learner’s responses, and provides targeted feedback and support to ensure conceptual clarity. Present, CIET-NCERT has developed the Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) system for Classes 9 and 10 in Science and Mathematics. To gauge the students' learning levels, each lesson begins with a prerequisite test based on prior knowledge. Before launching PAL feature, CIET-NCERT planned a pilot testing of this feature in selected schools with functional computer labs and internet connectivity. Ministry of Education, Govt. of India is planning to have a national level launch of PAL on 29th July 2025. We are planning to
complete the testing on or before 18th of July 2025. After completion of PAL courses students need to fill up the feedback form. In view of pilot, 10 schools have been identified for pilot testing and 5 teachers have been nominated (Details of Schools & Teachers are given in Annexure-1)
