AP, Samagra Shiksha – Quality Education –SIEMAT - Fit India Quiz 2021 for schools under FIT India Movement – revised orders/ instructions

The attention of all the District Educational ofcer and Additional

Project Coordinator in the State is invited to the subject cited and hereby

informed that the deputy secretary, department of school education and

literacy government of India has informed that the Fit India Cell’s Circular

No.19-1/FIT INDIA/QUIZ/2020, dated 11.09.2021 regarding the revised

guideline of Fit India Quiz 2021 and wavering of the registration fee for

participation.

The Fit India Quiz 2021 was launched on 01.09.2021 by Hon’ble

Minister of Youth Afairs and Sports and Hon’ble Minister of State of Youth

Afairs and Sports in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Education.

The department vides earlier letters of even no. dated 17th August &

th September, 2021, regarding Fit India Quiz for Schools had circulated

the detailed guidelines of the Quiz. Now for encouraging maximum

number of students to participate in the Fit India Quiz, Fit India Team has

made following amendments in the fees structure of the Quiz:

a. Registration of 2 lakh students from 1 lakh schools (Maximum two

students per school on the frst come frst basis) for the Fit India Quiz

will be free of cost (i.e. 2 students nominated by each school can

participate in Fit India Quiz for free for frst 1 lakh schools).

b. In case of schools willing to nominate more than 2 students for Fit

India Quiz, they can nominate the students after making payment of

registration fee of Rs.50 per students for the additional students.

The schools have already paid the registration fees of Rs.225/
