Sub: School Education Supporting Andhra's Learning Transformation (SALT) Programme- Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (ECCE) -60-day certificate course - Conduct of Year-2 Training to the SGTS (Secondary Grade Teachers) for 6 days in Non-Residential mode from 23.06.2025 to 28.06.2025 (1st Spell) - Orders - Issued - Reg., Read: 1. NEP-2020, NIPUN Bharat guidelines and NCF FS-2022.
2. MoU signed with ASER (Pratham) by Government of Andhra Pradesh, dated 17.08.2022.
3. Pr.Rc.No.SS-15023/23/2023-SAMO-SSA, Dt:12.05.2025 of the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha AP.
ORDER:
All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are hereby informed that the State government is prioritizing foundational literacy and numeracy aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and other key frameworks. This focus on early childhood care and education (ECCE) is crucial for ensuring that children develop essential skills at a young age.
In this context a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the skills of Grade 1 and 2 teachers through a structured 60-day certificate course. This collaboration between the Department of School Education, Samagra Shiksha, and ASER (Pratham) emphasizes a blended learning approach, combining both offline and online training methods.
Accordingly, a comprehensive training initiative is taken up by the department to train the 34,000 SGTs in six days in the Non-Residential mode across the state. Accordingly, Gnana Prakash 60-days Certificate Course Year-2 is scheduled from 23.06.2025 to 28.06.2025 in 131 venues across the state.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are requested to map the KRPs and DRPs to the following venues in the districts @ 1-2 KRPs in each Venues and @ 3-4 DRPs per each classroom in the venue.
