Invitation of the Case Studies/ Best Practices for the CDM, LBSNAA Special Series - COVID-19 Governance in India under its Book series entitled “Disaster Governance in India” – Submission of Manuscripts - Certain instructions
All the Principal DIETs/ IASEs in the State are hereby informed that the Centre
for Disaster Management (CDM) is a research and a unit of Lal Bahadur Shastri
National Academy of Administration(LBSNAA), Mussoorie, Department of personnel &
Training (DoPT), Government of India. The Centre is involved in training officers
belonging to the IAS and other Group – A Civil Services at induction as well as at
Mid-Career Level in various aspects of Disaster Management in collaboration with
National Disaster Management for IAS/Central Civil Services Officers.
Further informed that in the light of COVID-19, it is imperative that each
officer trainee at the academy has a clear understanding of public health emergency
management and exposure to its governance aspects. In this view, the CDM,
LBSNAA is planning to bring out a special publication series entitled “COVID-19
Governance in India” comprising the learning, initiatives, best practices of District
Administration’s State and Central Government
Department’s/Organization’s/Institution’s in response to COVID-19. Hence, they are
inviting manuscripts related to the following areas of COVID-19 Management
