All the District Educational Officers, and the Addl. Project

Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are informed that,

for promoting the reading habit among the school children, it is decided to

procure 32 books (One set) per Elementary & UP school and 50 books

(one set) per Secondary/Senior Secondary school from the Central

Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) and to distribute to the selected

schools from the classes 1 to 12 in the State.

The Addl.Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are

informed that, the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) have

supplied the books to the district point (List enclosed) and it was directed

to take delivery from the CIIL authorities in good condition and submit the

acknowledgement to this office.

In continuation of instructions above, the Addl.Project Coordinators

of Samagra Shiksha in the State are requested to distribute the 32 books

(One set) per Elementary & UP school and 50 books (one set) per

Secondary/Senior Secondary School to the selected schools in your

respective districts (School list enclosed) and receive acknowledgement

under intimation to this office.

The Addl.Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are

further requested to communicate the following instructions to the

concerned Headmasters/Principals in your respective districts for

distribution of the category wise books to the children.

A. The received Library books may be registered in the Stock register

book. (Annexure I)

B. The Books are distributed to the students in school vicinity duly

following COvID-19 norms duly entering the data as per the

annexure given.
