Jagannna Gorumudda (MDM) - Monitoring of the scheme through mobile application

e District Educational officer may aware that the Jagannna

Gorumudda (Mid-Day Meal Scheme) is a flagship programme aiming at

enhancing enrolment, retention and attendance and simultaneously improving

nutritional levels among children studying in Government owned

schools. Further, as directed by the Hon'ble Chief Min;ster the menu is revised

as acceptable, tastier, nutritious and cost effective one and the new menu came

into effect from 21st January 2020. Under the new menu the Peanut-Jaggery

Chikkies and eggs are being provided to the children.

Under this online system the data is dynamic and need to be collected

every day from every school. For collection of real time data in an effective

manner all the personnel involved in implementation of the scheme need to be

trained in usage of the mobile app and keeping the data dynamic. Thus, the

Assistant Directors, MEOs and Head Masters are need to be trained.
