The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the references cited, wherein Government has issued instructions for implementation of a 15-day Outreach Campaign for Self-Enumeration under Census2027 from 15th April to 30th April 2026 across the State. The Census–2027 introduces Self-Enumeration through an online portal (https://se.census.gov.in). The Government has emphasized extensive awareness and participation across all sections of society to ensure complete and accurate data collection. Role of School Education Department: As per the schedule communicated by the Government, 22nd April 2026 is earmarked for: - Primary Schools - Upper Primary Schools - High Schools - Junior Colleges Instructions to District Educational Officers: 1. Conduct Awareness Campaigns:
- Organize special awareness sessions in all schools and junior colleges. - Explain the importance, process, and benefits of self-enumeration. 2.
