Organizalion of Fit India Plogging Run on 2nd October,20l9

I enclosing herewith a copy of the reference cited above, the Government of Andhra pradesh

has informed that, the Hon'ble Prime Minister has launched a nationwide "Fit India Movement" on

29th August,2019 to inculcate physical-activity/sports into the daily life of citizens. In this regard,

the Department of Sports has requested to organize the FIT INDIA Plogging Run on 2nd October,

2019 as a tribute to the Father of Nation on his l50th Birth Anniversary. The participants would

collect plastics garbage while running. The plastic garbage could be collected from homes, streets

and open spaces along the path ofRun.

2. Hence the Government of Andhra Pradesh has requested to encourage maximum

participation in this event and furnish details of the participation along with photos/videos in this

regard to mail id rajmaurya.edu@nic.in and upload the FIT lndia portal fitindia.gov.in.
