In pursuance of the GO 12th read above, the Government have accorded Administrative Approval for implementation of infrastructure strengthening works under Mana Badi Mana Bhavishyathu (MBMB) programme in 5,989 identified Model Primary Schools across the State with a total financial outlay of 571.11 Crores for the Academic Year 2026-27.
1. Government, while according approval, have emphasized the necessity of providing adequate, safe, child-friendly and quality infrastructure facilities in all identified schools so as to create a conducive academic atmosphere, improve enrollment ratio, reduce dropout rate, enhance learning outcomes and effectively implement the school restructuring policy of the Government.
2. The Mana Badi Mana Bhavishyathu programme is one of the flagship initiatives of the Government intended to transform Government educational institutions into vibrant centres of

learning equipped with essential infrastructure and basic amenities comparable with best standards. In this regard, all field functionaries are expected to ensure effective, transparent and time-bound implementation of the sanctioned infrastructure works with utmost commitment and responsibility
