School Education – SCERT, AP – Implementation of PM e-Vidya Initiative – Promotion of DTH Channels & Mobile App – Instructions Issued – Reg.
The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and DIET Principals in the State is invited to the reference reference read above and they are informed that the PM e-Vidya initiative is a f lagship digital education programme launched by the Government of India under the vision of One Nation, One Digital Platform. As part of this initiative, a network of Direct-to-Home (DTH) television channels has been established to broadcast curriculum-based lessons across the country. These channels are available through Doordarshan DD Free Dish service, enabling free access even in remote and rural areas. They are further informed that in Andhra Pradesh, the
content is designed by SCERT AP, aligned with the State syllabus, and delivered in both Telugu and English mediums. The lessons cover core subjects such as Mathematics and Languages, supporting classroom learning, revision, and bridging learning gaps. The DTH Channel allocation in A.P., are as follows:
