orm you that the Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy Ministry of Education, Government of India has addressed a Demi Official (D.O.) letter in the reference cited to all the Chief Secretaries of states and Union territories stating that the Hon'ble Prime Minister made during the 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries on 27th December 2025, regarding saturation of the girl’s toilet to cent-percent before 8th March, 2026, in all the girls and co-educational schools. Further, an amount of Rs.1302,00,00,000/- (Rupees Thirteen hundred and Two Crores Only) was released to all the Additional Project Coordinators O/o Samagra Shiksha in the state towards execution of all pending bills under Mana Badi Mana Bhavishathu program vide RC.No.2917254/SS/2025 Dated 31-10-2025 of the State Project Director, O/o Samagra Sikhsha, Vijayawada. In view of the above, I herewith communicating the list of schools not having girl’s toilets in the state with a request to formulate and execute an appropriate and timebound plan of action to ensure saturation of the availability of girls’ toilets in all schools on or before 20th February, 2026, in strict compliance with the orders issued in the reference cited.
