School Education - APOSS, Amaravati – Six-Month Certificate (Bridge) Course in Primary Teacher Education (ODL Mode) – Communication of eligible t3eachers list received from IT Cell – Instructions to all District Educational Officers for verification and ensuring registration – Orders Issued
The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the references cited. The Director (SSS), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Noida has notified the launch of the Registration Portal for the Six-Month Certificate (Bridge) Course in Primary Teacher Education (ODL Mode), in pursuance of the Hon’ble Supreme Court Judgment dated 08.04.2024 and the NCTE Public Notices dated 07.04.2025 and 10.04.2025. The Director (SSS), NIOS has informed that registrations for the Bridge Course are open from 24.11.2025 to 25.12.2025 through the NIOS portal (https://bridge.nios.ac.in). The course is mandatory for in-service Primary Teachers (SGTs) appointed with B.Ed. qualification in accordance with the NCTE Notification dated 28.06.2018 and who were in service prior to 11.08.2023, in order to retain their eligibility. The IT Cell, O/o Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, has furnished a district-wise list of eligible teachers vide reference 4th cited.
