School Education Department - A.P Model Schools – Guidelines to the DEO’s and RJDSE’s in the state regarding preparation of students for ensuring better results in IPASE-May2025 betterment/ supplementary examinations - Implementation in all AP Model Schools in the state- Certain Instructions - Issued.

The attention of all the RJDSEs and DEOs in the state is invited to the subject cited, it is informed that Model Schools are established throughout the country with standards on par with the Kendriya Vidyalayas template in Educationally Backward Blocks to promote and strengthen Secondary Education. There are 164 AP Model schools now functioning in the State, out of which 164 Model Schools have up to 10th class and 163 Model Schools having up to Intermediate. The results of IPE March 2025 are mentioned as below.


The Government has been providing all facilities and basic amenities sufficiently in AP Model Schools, the IPE March 2025 showed better pass percentage (66% in I Year and 82% in II Year). Further, the Intermediate Supplementary/betterment Examinations (IPASE May 2025) are scheduled to be held from May 12th to 17th 2024. As such, the following guidelines/instructions are issued to the RJDSE’s and the DEO’s to instruct the Principals in the AP Model Schools for equipping the students and to improving pass percentage in the forthcoming Intermediate Supplementary Examinations, IPASE May 2025. 1. Special Summer Coaching Classes must be conducted for the failed students and less marks scored students (prime focus on Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry), classes must be taught to these students from 9.AM to 4.30PM in all AP Model Schools including Sundays and Holidays. 2. Instruct the Principals to prepare Day wise, subject wise, period wise Action Plan and specific Time Table to improve the weak areas in the subjects of the supplementary students with the help of the Subject Teachers. 3. Instruct the Subject Teachers to list out the names of failed students, group wise and subject wise. 4. Instruct the Subject Teachers to Contact and motivate the students and parents for attending Special Summer Coaching Classes for their success in upcoming supplementary IPASE May-2025 which are scheduled from 12.05.2024. 5. Work adjustment may be done with the nearby Model School Subject PGTs wherever necessary. 6. Instruct the Subject Teachers to conduct Daily Tests emphasizing students’ weak areas, evaluate the answer scripts and provide feedback to the students after carefully analyzing the answers on the same day. 7. Special and utmost care must be taken of the supplementary students and Most Important Subject Topics must be covered in the coaching. 8. Homework and










 Assignments will be given and corrected on daily basis. 9. All subject teachers have to give practice of old question papers in their subjects. Additional study material has to be provided to failure and average students to improve their marks.
