:School Education - AP -National De-worming Day (NDD) scheduled on 09th February 2024 followed by Mop up day on 16.02.2024 - Certain instructions and Guidelines
The attention of all the R.J.D.S.Es., D.E.Os & APCs in the state are invited to the references cited, and they are informed that the National De-Worming Day is aimed to De-worm all preschool and school-age children between the ages of 119 years through the platform of Anganwadi’s Government & Private schools and Junior colleges to improve their overall health, nutritional status, access to education and quality of life. In this regard the Government of India has directed to conduct Bi Annual De-worming and it is decided to conduct 1st round National De-Worming Day on 09.02.2024 to cover the children from 1 to 19 years, with the coordination and convergence of the Commissioners/Directors and Departments of Women Child Welfare, School Education, Intermediate, Panchayth Raj, Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, BC Welfare, Municipal Administration and Urban
