Samagra Shiksha, AP – SIEMAT – Organize Jal Pakhwada from 16th to 30th April,2024 – Instructions
the District Educational Ofcers and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the state are informed that the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, has stated that “Jal Shakthi Abhiyan: Catch the Rain” campaign was launched by Hon’ble Prime Ministry on 22nd March, 2021. The campaign focuses on rainwater harvesting & water conservation, enumerating, geotagging & making inventory of all water bodies; preparation of scientifc plans for water conservation, setting up Jal Shakti Kendras in all districts, intensive aforestation and awareness generation and decided to organize Jal pakhwada from 16th to 30th April, every year in all schools, educational institutions in the state an appropriate manner with active involvement of students and teachers. The schools/ institutions may be instructed to undertake the following suggested participatory activities during this period. i. Jal Shapath may be organized by all schools and
educational institutions on the frst working day of the Pakhwada and during morning assemblies every day, wherein all students and teachers /staf may participate. ii) Holding meeting of SMCs/PTAs or workshops in th
