Samagra Shiksha, A.P., Amaravati - Inclusive Education - Allowing of Children with Special Needs to write SSC examinations by using a computer/Laptop on their own - Requested

I wish to inform that Sri.D.K. Panfila, Under Secretary to the Government of India from Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) issued Memorandum to all Secretary of all Ministries for issuing Guidelines for conducting written examination for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities in the reference cited. The School Education Department is promoting independence in writing examinations for the Students with Special Needs (CwSN) in the mode of computer, Audio recording or Braille. The Director General of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh may be requested to allow the Students with Special Needs who have print disabilities which include (Blind, Low Vision, Visual Challenges, Neuro Diverse (Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Orthopaedic (upper body)) that prevent them to use manual writing efectively to write SSC examinations by using a computer/Laptop by their own. Also requesting to  recommend to issue their SSC Board Certifcate with an additional line of “Mode Examination-Computer without








 Scribe”. Therefore, I am here with requesting to take necessary action to allow the Students with Special Needs who have print disabilities which include (Blind, Low Vision, Visual Challenges, Neuro Diverse (Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Orthopaedic (upper body)) that prevent them to use manual writing efectively to write SSC examinations by using a computer/Laptop by their own
