School Education – SCERT AP – 2022-23 Academic year – Parents - Teacher Meeting on 29th April- distribution of report cards to parents of class 1 to 9certain instructions
All the regional joint directors and district educational ofcers in the state are aware that the summative assessment 2 and classroom-based assessment 3 will be completed by April 26, 2023, for classes 1 to 5, and by April 29, 2023, for classes 6 to 9, across the state, vide reference 2 cited above. In this regard, it has been decided to conduct a Mega Parents Meeting on April 29, 2023, in all schools to distribute student progress cards to parents. Here are some instructions for the teachers to follow when leading the parent meeting. 1. Ensure that the event is organized in a professional and organized manner. This includes having a designated area for parents to collect their child's progress cards and a separate area for meeting with teachers. 2. Make sure that you have reviewed and analysed your students' academic performance before the meeting. This will enable you to provide accurate and useful feedback to parents during the meeting. 3. Make sure that you are well-
prepared to answer any questions that parents may have regarding their child's academic progress. This includes being able to provide details on their child's strengths and weaknesses, areas where improvement is needed, and strategies
