- Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu, Phase-II : Certain guidelines on Additional Class Rooms and Dismantling of old / abandoned structure

Government vide GO read in the ref 3rd cited have accorded

administrative sanction for implementation of Mana Badi Nadu Nedu

Phase-II for improving the infrastructural facilities in 13,981 Schools ( High

School and Primary Schools) with a total Budget outlay of Rs.4535.73

Crores.

2. The following guidelines are issued for executing the Additional Class

Room Projects under Nadu Nedu , Phase-II.

i. Additional Class Rooms should be constructed in frst , second foors

and up to third foor in case of urban areas only unless otherwise the

technical issues demand.

ii. If Additional Class Rooms are constructed in Ground foor where the

existing buildings have column structure, disciplinary action will be

taken against the concerned Engineers. Additional Class Rooms

should be constructed in frst , second and third foors in urban

areas.

iii. Dismantling of old / abandoned Structures should be taken up as

part of Mana Badi Nadu Nedu , Phase-II. The cost of dismantling
