Establishment of Health & Wellness centers - Instructions to the DEOs to permit the Medical Officers to conduct yoga training classes for general public - Orders

All the District Educational Officers in the state are informed that, AYUSH

Department has launched the project 'YogaAndhra' from 1st April, 2022 onwards

engaged in 110 dispensaries across the state to teach yoga to identified school

students and general public of identified villages in the jurisdiction of the concerned

dispensary. the training period is one hour, either in the morning or in the evening

without disturbance to the school.

Further, as no space is available for conducting yoga classes for general

public, they have proposed to avail the playgrounds of nearby Government schools

for the said purpose.

In view of the above, all the District Educational Officers are requested to

issue necessary instructions to the Head of the Institutions concerned to permit

the Medical Officers to conduct yoga training classes for general public and

identified School children. The list of selected schools for the programme will be

forwarded to you shortly to issue instructions to the respective schools.
