Celebration of Matribhasha Diwas on 21st February, 2022- certain instructions

All the District Educational Ofcers&E&-Ofcio Project Coordinators, Additional

Project Coordinators and Principals of DIETs in the State are hereby informed that in the

reference cited, the DoSE&L,GOI, New Delhi has instructed to celebrate the occasion of

International Mother Language Day on 21st February, 2022 and promote the

dissemination of mother language and awareness of Linguistic and cultural traditions

throughout the world and to inspire solidarity based on understanding, tolerance and

dialogue by highlighting

 the linguistic diversity of our country.

 usage, not only of the respective mother tongue but other Indian languages as

well

 diverse cultures, in India and various forums of literature, craft, performing arts,

scripts and other forms of creative e&pression.

Further, they are requested to celebrate the occasion in all Schools by organizing

activities in Matribhasha, such as-Poster Making, Essay Writing, Painting, Elocution,

Debating, Singing, Dramatic Performances, E&hibitions and any other activity beftting the

occasion, complying with all mandatory COVID-19 Protocols and share the compliance

report to the Dept.at
