All the Principals of Model Schools in the State are informed that the

Government of A.P. established RGUKT in 2008 through Act 18 of Government of

Andhra Pradesh with the motto to cater to the educational needs of ‘gifted rural

youth’ of Andhra Pradesh. A six year integrated B.Tech programme with 2 year

PUC plus 4 year B.Tech ofered in 7 branches of Engineering for the beneft of

rural students, who have passed in frst attempt of SSC (10 Class) or any other

equivalent examination recognized by the Government of A.P. State and

Telangana State/CBSE/ICSE.

The Convener, RGUKT CET-2021 has issued notifcation for Common

Entrance Test (RGUKT CET-2021) for admission into the 6 year Integrated B.Tech

Programme for the year 2021-22. The last date for submission of online

application is 06-09-2021 (upto 5:00PM). The detailed notifcation is available on

the website:www.rgukt.in.

The Universities is fully residential and accessible to both boys and girls

with “learning by doing” as predominant learning strategy. Based on parental

Income of the student, the Government of Andhra Pradesh provides scholarships

to eligible students.

Therefore, all the Principals of Model Schools in the State are requested to

take necessary measures by evincing their personal attention to create

awareness and provide wide publicity among the passed out students of the 10th

class and persuade the more students to appear for the RGUKT CET-2021 for

their beneft and to utilize the opportunity, since the RGUKT, A.P., is providing

high-quality educational opportunities for the inspirational rural youth of Andhra

Pradesh.
