–Reopening of Schools and learning with physical/ Social distancing – Standard operating procedure (SOP) for health and safety protocols to be followed in all schools – Allowing of outsourcing staff working in girls hostels attached to AP Model Schools - Certain instructions
The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is
invited to the reference 2nd read above and they are informed that certain
instructions and guidelines were issued by the Government with regard to
reopening of Schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh. As per the said
instructions all the AP Model Schools in the state (Residential Schools and
Hostels) with classes 9th to 12th are opened from 2nd November 2020 in a
phased manner. Accordingly the girls hostels attached to AP Model
Schools are also to be opened and function as usual duly following the
guidelines and instructions issued by the Government.
In view of the above position all the District Educational Officers in
the State are requested to allow all the outsourcing staff working in girls
hostels attached to AP Model Schools in the State who were appointed
prior to issue of G.O. Ms. No.58 Finance (HR.I-Plg.& Policy) Department
Dt:03-07-2019 on par with all the staff working in AP Model Schools from
20/11/2020 to take carry out sanitation/cleaning works without further
loss of time for academic instructions.
