“Public Health Response to Covid-19:Campaign for COVID-Appropriate Behaviour” - Communication of pledge to take on Monday i.e., 12-10-2020 by 11:00 AM

Coordinators in the State are hereby informed that the Hon’ble Prime

Minister Shri Narendra Modi have launched “Jan Andolan Campaign on

COVID-19” on 08-10-2020. This campaign is a low cost, high intensity

campaign driven by people’s participation, for dissemination throughout

the country using all media platforms. This campaign emphasizes on

“Unlock with Precautions” i.e., COVID-19 appropriate behavior in the New

Normal. The three key messages being highlighted are – “Wear Mask,

Follow Physical Distancing, Maintain Hand Hygiene”.

The highlight of this campaign is the partnership and concerted

effort of the Central Govt Ministries and Departments and the State

Government along with their attached and subordinate offices, PSUs,

private sector industry and business etc., so that this reach each and

every citizen of India. In this regard, it is requested to disseminate the

message to all the institutions including grass root organizations by way

of Posters, Banners, Billi boards etc., at prominent locations for spreading

the message far and wide.

Therefore, the Government of India, Ministry of

Information &

Broadcasting, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi has requested to take the

COVID-19 Pledge on any suitable day by all employees of the

Government, attached/ subordinate officer, grass root organizations and

frontline workers.

In view of the above, all the District Educational Officers and

Additional Project Coordinators in the State are requested to take COVID-

19 pledge on Monday i.e., 12.10.2020 by 11:00 AM by all Officers and
