The District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of
Krishna, Guntur, Chittoor, Anantapur and Kadapa Districts are hereby informed that
the UNICEF is supporting APHRDI-CSDG program for the capacity building and
strengthening of the Gram Panchayats(GPs) towards enhanced preparedness and
building the resilience of local governance institutions to help mitigate the adverse
impacts of emergencies and to enable proper service delivery to the rural
communities. This programme is also to actively contribute and monitor development
outcomes for children and the communities at large. This is aimed at introducing
Child Centric initiatives for meeting the adverse consequences of the Pandemic for
children. 





The first phase of the programme will cover five selected districts viz.,
Krishna, Guntur, Chittoor, Anantapur and Kadapa. These are online
programmes being conducted in CISCO webex. The following are the key
deliverables from the project – Child Friendly Local Governance (CFLG):-
a. CFLG Approach and Training Manual customized to GPs in Andhra Pradesh 
b. Modules on Emergency Preparedness 
c. GP level monitoring frame word
d. Training of Champion GPs in all districts.
