The District Educational officers, Additional project coordinators, and

Principals of DIETs in the state are informed that, DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure

for Knowledge Sharing), is a national platform for teachers & students,

developed by NCTE-MHRD, GoI. It was launched by Hon’ble Vice president

on 5th Sept’ 2017. The major verticals of DIKSHA are Teaching and Learning

Content (TLC), Assessments, Online Courses for Teacher Professional

Development (TPD), Energized Textbooks Etc. The objective of QR code

enabled Energized Textbooks (ETB) is to provide learners easy access to more

information using teacher-made content and free online resources that

stimulate and engage learners and teachers.

Further, it is observed that, as per the Dashboard of the DIKSHA

platform the QR Codes scanning is very less when we compare with the

national average; it is because of less awareness on DIKSHA among teachers.

MHRD GOI has declared DIKSHA as ‘One Nation One platform’ and NISHTHA

online training will also be conducted through the DIKSHA platform.

In this context, the Samagra Shiksha Andhra pradesh has planned to

conduct a 3 day online training to teachers to provide awareness on DIKSHA,
