ublic Services- Disciplinary Cases -Review of orders of Suspension for continuation beyond the period of six Months-Authorities empowered to review –Certain-Instructions

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District

Educational Officers in the State are here by informed that, the Govt vide

G.O.Ms.No. 578 G.AD(Ser.I) Dept Dt:31.12.1999 have issued revised orders for

review of suspension cases as mentioned below.

“i. The first review, of the order of Suspension after six months from the date

of issue of orders shall be by the appointing authority. The 2nd and

subsequent reviews shall be by the Regional Authority, where it exists, at

intervals of six months. Where no Regional Authority exists, the 2nd and

subsequent reviews of order of suspension, shall be by the Head of the

Department at an interval of every six months, where the appointing

authority is Head of the Department itself, the review of the order of the

suspension at an interval of six months shall be by the Head of the

Department only.

ii. Even if suspension is ordered by a higher authority, the review shall be

done as ordered above except that a report on the result review shall be sent

to the higher authority for information and record.
