The attention of the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project
Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State
are informed that the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi has
informed vide reference 11th cited, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused an
unprecedented public health emergency world wise, including in India leading to
varying stages of Lackdown. Due to this, a large number of migrant labourers
have returned to their native places and are likely to stay there for varying
periods, Along with the migrant workers, their families and children have also
o their native places. In this regard' the MHRD in Order to ensure
access to education for a, such chirdren have prepared a set of guidelines for the
StatesandUTssothattheChallengesthrownbythepandemicdonotstopthe
continuous learning of any students'
Further,theMinistryofHumanResourceDevelopment,NewDelhi
requested to issue necessary instructions at each revel io as to ensure that there
is no loss of academic year for any student'
Therefore,alltheoftheDistrictEducationalofficers&Ex-officioProject
coordinators and Additionar project coordinators of samagra shiksha in the State
are requested take necessary steps to admit the In-migrated children in the
ageappropriateclasseswithoutinsistingforcertificates/documents.
Further,itshouldbeensuredthatthedetailsofthechildrenofln.
migratedchildrenannexedtotheseproceedingsareadmittedinSchools
in aPProPriate classes'
The above instructions are to be followed scrupulously and furnish action
taken report to this office on or before 30'08'2020'
