- Mid Day Meal Scheme – Engagement of Hire vehicles to the Assistant Directors (MDM) District Level and at State Level

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is giving paramount importance and

priority to the Mid Day Meal Scheme for ensuring transparency, quality, supply of

transparency, supply of qualitative, supply of better quality, nutritious and tastier

food to the students to strengthen them mentally and physically.

In order to strengthen the organizational structure both at the State Level

and the District levels for proper monitoring and supervision of each component of

the scheme like quality, hygiene, maintaining quantity and tasty of the food,

proper recording, proper documentation and maintenance of time of food

distribution and payment of the remuneration, other bills in time so as to avoid any

disturbances, the Government has approved the four tier mechanism for monitoring

and supervising activities at different levels.

In this connection, the Government has agreed for provision of hire vehicle

to the Assistant Director with minimum rents duly following the Guidelines contains

in the G.O.Ms.No.87, Finance (HR-VI-TFR-VA),Dept, Dated: 01.06.2017 to inspect

and monitor the implementation of Mid Day Meals and maintenance of sanitation

in the schools in the districts.

In this regard, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested

to issue the instructions to Assistant Director (MDM and Sanitation) to engage the

one Hired Vehicle from schools reopen day to March,2021 with following

instructions

a. To engage the hired vehicle as per the guidelines given in G.O.Ms.No.87,

Finance Dept Dt:01.06.2017 and to meet the expenditure from the
