Self Defense Training Programme to Girls students in the Upper Primary & Secondary schools for the year 2019-20 – Information on payment to the firms as per the work done

The attention of all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio
Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra
Shiksha, AP., are invited to the ref cited Dr.A.S.Ramakrishna, MLC raised
the following questions in the L.C.Q.No.11841 (Starred). The questions
raised by the MLC are as follows:
a. The details of Programmes that have been conducted for imparting self
defense techniques to Girl students in Government school in the State 
from May,2019 to till now; and
b. The total amount spent by the Government there for
With regard to point B Secondary schools payment was released by
this office and for the Upper primary schools total sanctioned amount was
released to the DEOs/APCs in the state with instructions to release the
payment to the concerned firms as per the work done.
It is further informed that it is came to the notice of the SPD, APSS
that payments were not made to the concerned firms with the regard to
Upper Primary schools and updated work done reports were not received
with regard to the Secondary schools.
Therefore all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project
Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha, AP.,
are instructed to submit the following information on or before 12.05.2020
without fail. 
1. Any payments made to the Self Defence firms with regard to the Upper
Primary schools.
2. If made details of the amount released and work done status.
3. If payment not released, reasons for not releasing the payment.



4. Work done reports with regard to the High Schools and Junior 
Colleges have not been submitted by the concerned DEOs/APCs in full
shape, updated information should be submitted.
