School Education – Teachers drafted COVID -19 duties – Not to utilize the services of Teachers at liquor shops under any circumstances – Request – Regarding.
I wish to inform that, in the ref cited, the Hon’ble Minister for Education,
Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Velagapudi, Amaravati has informed that the teachers
working in all management schools have been drafted for COVID-19 duties in the
state such as, co-operating with the police about containing the people entering into
Red Zones, maintenance of social distancing in public places i.e., markets, raitu
bazars and banks etc.,. But, it has come to the notice that, in Visakhapatnam District
the services of teachers were utilized at liquor shops. As such, it leads to the adverse
comments on School Education Department / Govt.
I, therefore request you not to utilize the services of Teachers at liquor shops
under any circumstances and withdrawal of the services of employees of Education
Department can be explored in view of the relaxations given at many places, as the
teachers have to attend online classes also.
