In the wake of the outbreak & rapid spread of COVID-19 pandemic,
the Government of Andhra Pradesh had initially imposed lockdown till
14th April, 2020 vide the reference 3rd cited under the Disaster
Management Act, 2005, as per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of
Home Affairs, Government of India for the containment of the COVID-
19 pandemic. The Lockdown is further extended in different spells, as
per the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of
India till 31st May 2020, in order to contain the spread of the disease.
