Creation of 13 additional Joint Collector Cadre (posts)-G.O

In the G.O.s read above, the Government has allocated various subjects in the District

Administration, to Joint Collector – I and Joint Collector – II, duly notifying the post of Joint

Collector – I as a Cadre post and the post of Joint Collector – II as a Non-Cadre post.

2. The priority of the Government is to provide responsive, accountable governance in a

corruption free environment while keeping special focus on the welfare of all section of the

society. To achieve these objectives, the Government have to implement the development

and welfare programs of the State in mission mode, while ensuring effective last mile delivery

of government services through Village Secretariat/ Ward Secretariat with a network of Village

& Ward Volunteers.

3. Furthermore, there are large number of IAS officers in senior-time scale, who require

extensive field exposure, before they take up higher responsibilities.
