Officers in the State are here by informed that United States - India Educational Foundation
(USIEF) announced Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (FTEA) Program
sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Department of State, U.S. and
called for the applications from the in service teachers.
This is a six-week, non-degree academic and professional development program at a
U.S. university provides approximately 160 secondary school teachers from around the world
with a unique opportunity to develop greater expertise in their subject areas, enhance their
teaching skills, and increase their knowledge about the United States.
The selected participants will attend for one of two six-week professional
development programs in either January 2021 or September 2021 in the United States.
The program provides academic seminars on teaching methodologies and strategies,
curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional technology training. Intensive
English language instruction will be offered to teachers who need additional practice and
support will be provided to participants throughout the program.
