Ordinary Elections to MPTCs/ZPTCs - Declaration of local holiday on the preceding day of poll i.e., on 20.03.2020 and on the day of poll i.e., on 21.03.2020
In the circumstances stated by the Secretary, State Election
Commission, A.P., Vijayawada in the reference read above, the Government
after careful consideration hereby authorise all the District Collectors in the
State, to declare local holiday on the preceding day of poll i.e., on 20.03.2020
and on the day of poll i.e., on 21.03.2020 for all public buildings, educational
institutional buildings and other buildings that are used for conduct of poll,
in connection with MPTC/ZPTCs elections.
2. The District Collectors in the State are requested to take necessary
action accordingly.
