I wish to inform that, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has informed that,

the Hon'ble Prime Minister has launched a nationwide "Fit India Movement" on 29th

August, 2019 to inculcate physical-activity/sports into the daily life of citizens. In

this regard, the Department of Sports has requested to organize the FIT INDIA

Plogging Run on 2nd October, 2019 as a tribute to the Father of Nation on his 150th

Birth Anniversary. The participants would collect plastics garbage while running

The plastic garbage could be collected from homes, streets and open spaces along the

path of Run.

State on 18-11-2019 at 1.30 PM to 3.00 PM. The instructions issued by him are

recorded here for necessary follow up action. MHRD is launching (3) major

campaigns viz., Fitlndia, Shreshta Bharat Ek Bharat and Constitution Day

celebrations.
