Mid Day Meals Scheme - Procurement and Supply of Eggs under Mid Day Meal Scheme for the year 2019-20 for classes I to X – Cancellation of existing tender and floating a new tender for procuring eggs - Issued- Regarding.
All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that
the Government in the memo 1st read above accorded permission to the
Commissioner of School Education to cancel all the existing tenders for
procurement of eggs in view of supply of poor quality Eggs and Non
supply of Eggs as per the given schedule on sometimes under Mid Day
Meal Scheme.
The Government in the memo have permitted the Commissioner of
School Education for floating a new tender by incorporating revised
monitoring quality & standards and eligibility conditions and also to
complete the process immediately.
The revised tender eligibility conditions, revised monitoring and
quality standards to be incorporated (by replacing the old norms) are
enclosed herewith (Annexure).
Therefore, all the DEOs are requested to take action cancellation of
existing tenders duly following rules/ tender guidelines and float a new
tender with the approval of Dist. collector and report compliance.
As directed by Government the tender procedure shall be
completed within two months without
