Curriculum revision for classes I to V from the academic year 2020-21.

The District Educational Officers of Vijayanagaram, East Godavari, West Godavari,

Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Chottoor, YSR kadapa, Kurnool, and Ananthapuramu are here by

informed that Government of Andhra Pradesh is decided to implement English medium from

class I to VIII and Curriculum revision for classes I to V from the academic year 2020-21.

In this connection it is scheduled to conduct a 3-day workshop to prepare detailed

comparative study report on the process of text book development, content and concepts

presentation, from 14-10-2019 to 16-10-2019 at SCERT. The District Educational Officer,

Chittoor is requested to coordinate the entire workshop duly ensuring the quality outputs from

the workshop. The subject resource teachers who are identified for the said workshop is

furnished at Annexure.

Therefore, the District Educational Officers concerned are requested to depute

the subject resource teachers as annexed well in advance to enable them to attend the

workshop along with the copies of 2000 to 2019 edition text books with an instruction to

report the Director, SCERT on 14-10-2019, by 09.30 a.m. without fail

The District Educational Officer, Chittoor is requested to attend and lead the

workshop in preparing a comprehensive proposal on Curriculum revision from Class I to V to

the Government.
