Sainik SCHOOLS entrance test notification
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please refer to the Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence, letter no.
5(11y2019/D(SSC), dated 16 Jut 2019 (Copy enclosed). The All India Sainik Schoots
Entrance Examination (AISSEE) for admission to Class Vl for the academic session
2020-21 is scheduled on 0S anua 2020 Su nda
2. centres for the examination to be held in January 2020 alongwith the approx
number of candidates expected to appear next year has been work6d out. lt is also pertinent to mention here that the sainik schools society, Ministry of Defence, vide lefter No.(20)/2018/D(ssc) dated 11 sep 2018, has inireased the age criteria for
admission from 10-'l 1 to 10-12 years for class Vl and from 13-14 to 15-1s years for
class lX. Therefore, there may be a likely increase in the strength of candidates
appearing for the entrance examination.
3. ln view of this, it is proposed to allocate the number of centres (with approx
seating capacity) as listed below for smooth conduct of the entrance examination:
