. Operational definitions of terms used in the Guidelines
2.1 National Resource Person (NRP)
Educationists, Subject-Experts, Teacher Educators drawn from National Level
Institutions such as NCERT, NIEPA, KVS, NVS, CBSE etc.
2.2 Integrated Teacher Training (ITT)
In the present context, Integrated Teacher Training means training of teachers on
various topics including initiatives undertaken in the education system, in an
integrated manner simultaneously involving heads of schools and also the key
functionaries from State level to the cluster level.
2.3 Key Resource Person (KRP)
Faculty members of SCERT, DIETs, IASEs, CTEs and Teachers from Senior Secondary
Schools as identified by the States and UTs for capacity building by the National
Resource Persons and for providing training to the teachers.
2.4 State Resource Person (Leadership) (SRP)
Principals/In-charge of schools already trained under the National Leadership
program of NIEPA.
2.5 National Resource Group
A group of National level resource persons formed to build the capacity of Key
Resource Persons in the States and UTs.
2.6 State Resource Group
A group of 5 KRPs and 1 SRP trained by the NRG for the further training of teachers
at the block level.
2.7 Key Functionary (KF)
Functionaries working for school education at the State, District, Block and Cluster
levels. These may be from Directorate of Education, District Education Office, Block
Education Office, Block Resource Centre and Cluster Resource Centre.
