Dea warming day

All the District Educational Officers and District Project Officers of Sarva Shiksha

Abhiyan in the State are requested to involve all the School managements i.e"

Government.,

ZP (Zilla Perished), Municipal, Aided and Mandal Ferished to

conduct the National De-Worming Day on 08.08.2018 and Mop on 16'08.2019

to cover the Children from 1 to 1B years age group'

General Instructions of School Education:

1. Every student is to be administered except the student who is sick,

involvement of the teachers in thc programme is very essential and

science, Physical education teachers are made SUre to ta ke active

pa rticipation.

For.o"ry enrolled student dewormed on 08.08.2079: a single (V) mark

next to the name of dewormed student in the attendance register,

For every dewormed student on 16.08.2019: a double tick (VV) mark the

next to the name of dewormed studenl in the attendance register"

Conducting aWareness discussions among the students on National De-

Worming Day should be planned tlefore the programme to increase

awareness.

5. At the end teacher will count the single tick marks & double tick marks in

the attendance register, separately for both DD & MUD and will report to

the nodal teacher / principal at school'

Recording and reporting formats:

1. On De-Worming Day - National Deworming day (08.08.2019) and MOP Up

day (16.08.2019).

2. Anganwadi Teachers will record number of enrolled children dewormed in

the school.

3. Anganwadi workers will record number of registered, unregistered & out of

going school children dewormed in AWC's.

4. ASHA will record number of non-enrolled and out of school children

dewormed in AWC's in order to receive her incentives.

5. ANM will compile the reports received from all schools AWC's.

Therefore all the District Educational Officers and Project Officers are

requested to glve instructions to the private Schools also to participate in the

National De-Worming Day on 08,08.2019 and Mop on 16/08/2079 to cover the

children from 1to 18 years age group and follow the instructions of Health

Department and also give suitable instructions to coordinate with the Healtlr

Department to involve Governmenl., ZP (Zilla Parished), Municipal, Aided and

Mandal Perished.
