De-worming Day Scheduled on 08.Q8.2019 convergence meeting with

line departments for irnplementafion - meeting in the Conference hall

ofCHFW on 0.l.0$.2019 at 11.00 A.M. +Certain instructions &

guidelines communicated - Regarding.

Ref: .Rc.No.315/RBSK/NHM/2014, dt.24.07.2019 of the Director of Health

& Family Welfare, AP, Gollapu!ili, Viiayawada.

The attention of all the Commissioners of the (59) Urban Local Bodies· in the State where

Municipal Schools exists· is invited to the reference '(copy enclosed), wherein iI1 rhe Director of Health

& Family Welfrl're, AP, Gollapudi, Vijayawada bas informed that, the Government of India has

directed to conduct Bi Annual Deworming and it is decided to conduct National De-working Day on

08.08.2019 to cover the children from 01 to 19 years. The coordination and convergence of line

departments with Health and Family Welfare is required for proper implementation of the programme

and the Director has requested this office to attend the convergence, meeting on 01.:08.2019 at I LOO

The. De worming day is scheduled to be conducted on 08.08.2019.

To conduct cornpetitjon at U.L.B level for awareness among students with regard ro

importance of deworrning day.

The science teacher has to explain the importance of deworming day at Assembly for not less

than two days.

To write on the Black. board 011 the day of National De worming Day i.e. OKOS.2019.

TQ wash hands ofstudents properly with Dettol soap or li~ before meals.

The mid-day meal has to be served half an hour before scheduled hour oh the De worming

bay.

The tablets have to be taken by the students after meals in the presence of teachers preferably.

The teachers have to be taken the tablets on the eve of "National De worming Day" on

08. 0.8.2019 without fail ro give adequate moral support to 'the students.

The tablets are 'Chew-able.

The Health Department served these tablets before a day in udvanee otherwise the Head

Master of the institution shall be collected from the nearby Medical Department

Teachers, will record number of enrolledchildreu dewortned in the class attendance register,

For every enrolled student de-wormed on 08.QS.W.19 a right tick (D) mark iI1 the attendance
