It is to inform that during the first District Collectors’ Conference convened by the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of Andhra Pradesh held on 24™ & 25" June, 2019, where in it was come up for discussion regarding plantations in all schools, collages, institutional premises shall be given priority in tree plantation in the open lands available in the school.

Necessary steps have already taken up for tree plantation in the school premises where open lands are available and also issued instructions to all the District Coordinators of APNGC to take up tree plantations in consultation with Forest Department Officials. So far in some schools have already taken up plantations.
However, as per the instructions issued in the District Collectors’ Conference, It is once again requested all the DEOs to issue suitable instructions to all the school in-charges in your district to take up tree plantations in the open lands of the schools with the eco-club students of APNGC and also protect the plantations. The seed lings / saplings are available with the DFO of Forest Department and to place the indent for the supply of the material to take up the plantations as almost rains received and it is good season for taking up plantations.
Therefore it is also requested to advise the schoo! head master / in charges to be in touch with the Forest Department Officials in your district regarding seed lings / saplings
