School Education – Introduction of qualitative dance classes through online in Physical Literacy Programme in 650 schools in A.P – Govt. of A.P accorded Permission to Syllogist Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd – Certain Guidelines issued

Please read the Govt. memo cited in the reference 1, where in Syllogist

Learning Solutions (SLS) Pvt. Ltd is accorded permission to introduce Dance in 650

schools in 12 districts @ 40 schools each district including 200 schools covered in

Chittoor District in the year 2017-18 other than Visakhapatnam, from February 2019

to November 2019 for students of classes 6 to 9.

In this regard, Syllogist has conducted a baseline survey and identified 450

schools in 12 districts with digital classroom facilities and made necessary

arrangements for the transmission of online dance classes during the timings allotted

for Physical Literacy from February 2019. The list of schools is shared herewith.

DEOs may confirm the same or may make changes, subject to the availability of

DCR facility. You may consult SLS to finalize the list.

In view of the above, all the District Educational Officers concerned are

requested to ensure the implementation of the programme as per the terms and

conditions mentioned in the Govt. Memo as read in the reference 1. Further, you are

requested to follow the guidelines given below.

1. Furnish the number of students involved in the programme class wise and

school wise.

2. Ensure the possession of curriculum, lesson plans, Teaching learning

materials supply to H.Ms by SLS

3. Ensure the orientations to the H.Ms, P.ETs/other teachers in the school.

4. Ensure the conduct of classes during the physical literacy periods as read in

reference 2.

5. SLS will telecast 60 live streaming online lessons during the above mentioned

time period. (leaving summer vacation)

6. The dance class should be conducted during Physical Literacy Period only in

the presence of P.ET/teachers of other subjects in the digital classroom where

there should be free enough space for the students to do practice.

7. Ensure the visit of Dance Teacher’s visit to each school for every 3 weeks to

the school for offline practice of the lessons learnt through online.
